Bear and Bunny Yarn, –  Naturally dyed yarns, handmade needle holders, stitch markers.

Beary Wise Creations – felted wool garments, accessories and decor;  living rug “sheepskins” – all wool, no skin.

MWL Wool Mountain – rare breeds of wool and fibre, equipment rentals, workshops

Purl & Hank —  Knitwear accessories made from high quality leather

Enchanted Grove Alpacas — SATURDAY ONLY yarns natural and hand dyed, felt, roving, insoles, slippers, mitts, hats , scarfs, bears and alpaca toys.

Spirit Sands Shepherds – SUNDAY ONLY – Raw fleeces; white and coloured; from Wensleydale crosses, Cotswold crosses, Rambouillet crosses. Also locks and some washed wool

Long Way Homestead will have a full shop of yarn, fibre and other knitting/sheep related items.  We will be doing wool mill tours upon request. The sheep and llamas will be present for tours and for petting etc. We will do tours of our dye gardens as well!

We are family friendly and attendees should dress for the conditions (ie. if there is rain bring rain boots if you want to see the animals).

Long Way Homestead has limited accessibility, the vendors will all be on grass and the pathway is grass and gravel. The wool mill and the washroom are one step up. The washroom is not wheelchair accessible.

We have one outdoor washroom and hand washing station.

We will be selling coffee, cold drinks and individually packaged light snacks. We have hand washing and sanitation available.

Drive East on the Trans Canada Highway for about 30km, shortly after the ‘Centre of Canada’ signs take a LEFT at highway 501. Follow the 501, and about 5km past the number 12 highway turn  LEFT on the 41rd E. (there is a small gas station on the right hand side). Turn right at the second driveway #51077. There will be signs up at the 41rd and at the entrance to the farm.
