Shepherd’s Dream

SHEPHERD’S DREAM – Roseau River, Manitoba.  Manitoba Fibre Trail 2021

OPEN: Saturday September 19, 2021.   9 – 6.

We are thrilled to be on the Manitoba Fibre Trail again this year. Shepherd’s Dream is all about fibre from sheep. Our wool bedding products start with the purest, fluffiest wool batting we can find. We encase it in organic sateen cotton and wool Melton to make our mattresses, toppers, pillows and comforters. This past year we have also begun sewing our own organic sheets – made to order – or standard sizes on the shelf. We will demonstrate making dryer-balls in the morning, and pillows and  in the afternoon.

We’d also like to show you other fibres woven into our lifestyle. The house we built in 2008 is an EcoNest, made of clay mixed with various fibres ….like straw, cattail fluff, cow manure and other materials we found in our neighbourhood. Check out  to see info about houses like the one we built.

We invite fully vaccinated folks to choose their time to come.  To facilitate social distancing we will book about 5 folks into each time slot.
