Visitors to the Manitoba Fibre Festival will see many craft techniques and tools demonstrated, and even try out a few for themselves.
Volunteers from local crafts guilds, clubs and living history groups share their skills covering techniques from finger weaving to machine knitting.
Professional sheep shearers demonstrate the strength and precision needed to give a sheep a haircut.
Fibre people love to share their passion. You will find inspiration and something new to learn everywhere you look. If you are wearing something handknit, be prepared to make new friends while discussing pattern and yarn choices.
Seating areas are provided for spinners and knitters to gather round in good company. Bring your current project and plan to stay awhile!
